I started blogging in the late 90s, when there was seriously a set of cool kid bloggers in San Francisco and they all actually knew each other (I only knew them a little bit). at the time we were all figuring out the genre, creating the conventions that are now commonplace.
now my brother has a blog. now my dad has a blog. Juniper once even product tested a Leap Frog toy that made "new blog entries" for two year olds.
but--aside from the stupid electronic toy--I guess that's the whole point, right? letting the word be shared. decentralizing the author. subverting publishing. trying something that's not your field.
that's pretty much always a good thing.
I'd be willing to bet that Juniper's blog would be more entertaining than mine :)
ReplyDeleteDr. Easa has a blog! And the first entry that I saw is about whips!
